Now, Bruce is on the road to recovery. He shared an update with the team over the weekend and wanted us to share it with you too.

“I wanted to say ‘hi’ to all my Morning Show family and friends,” Bruce said during a cellphone video update. “I miss you guys! As you can see, I’m still at Memorial Hospital. It’s been a week since I had open heart surgery. They replaced my heart valve and repaired the aortic aneurysm, but I’m well on the road to recovery. There have been some hurdles along the way and some challenges that have kept me here much longer than I’d like. But, you know what? I just wanted to let you know that I’m doing well and I thank everybody who’s emailed, written, called — it means so much to me. And thank you for your prayers, and I certainly hope to be back there with you on The Morning Show, just as soon as possible, love and prayers to everybody.”

Send your well wishes to Bruce below! We will deliver them to Bruce as soon as he returns.
