Despite their popularity, they’re not a staple perfume brand for most.

And that’s because a single 100ml bottle can set you back over £230.

Savvy beauty buffs are always looking for ways to try luxury products for cheaper, and they’ve now found a way to do it with Jo Malone perfumes.

Shoppers have realised the £55 Jo Malone London Rose Travel Cologne Trio Fragrance Gift Set contains three bottles of the brand’s signature scents.

Each bottle works out at £18.33 a pop - and you don’t have to keep them all.

You can keep the scent you want from the box for the impressive price and sell the other two on the likes of Vinted or eBay.

Or, you can even gift them to your loved ones for a special occasion or birthday.

The 9ml bottles each include the Rose Blush Cologne, Rose & Magnolia Cologne and Rose Amber Cologne.

The main scent shoppers are raving about is the Rose & Magnolia, with one woman saying it was still going strong at the end of her ten hour shift.

Costing £86 for a 50ml bottle, it is said to be a “sensual floral scent with a mysterious character”.

Jo Malone bosses added that it contains “luminous magnolia and a duet of roses”.

“A decadent heart of sweet and petaly Rose de Mai, warmed by the spicy opulence of Rose Damascena, draped in sensuous patchouli and warm amber,” they said.

It has received rave reviews on the John Lewis website.

“The scent, while being polarising among friends, is fresh and inviting and lasts an unbelievable amount of time,” one reads.

“The fragrance was still on my clothes the day after.

“It's definitely a high quality product.”

To get maximum effect from perfume, you should spritz it generously onto your wrists, neck and pulse points.

Your body heat will help to diffuse the fragrance throughout the day, so you’ll still be getting compliments come 5pm.
